Never believe what you publish...Never publish what you believe.
For Richard Dees (Miguel Ferrer) facts are always stranger thatn fiction. Every headline is a dead-line. Serial Killers, UFO abductions, tales of molestation, mayhem and murder. To some the tales are unbelievable - but his faithful readers believe. And now there´s a new story, The Night Flier. What is it that flies by night in a dark-winged Cessna, lands at secluded airports and brutally murders local residents? Dees begins to follow the unknown killer in a Cessna of his own, uncovering clues that reveal a pilot more terrifying that he could ever have imagined. A creature so untamed by human nature, that their final confrontation will leave no body unbloodied.

box office.
But the truth of the matter is that this movie never saw the box office. By
all rights, it should have because it had a great crew behind it. It was

It's a shame that this movie never got a wide release or a better publicity
campaign, because it is so much better than most of the recent, and not so
recent, adaptions of Stephen King books. like Thinner and Sleepwalkers. It has
it's cheesy moments, but there is too much good stuff here. Miguel Ferrer as
the most dislikable main character in a movie full of dislikable characters, plenty
of gore, and a very creepy finale that has echoes of Night of the Living Dead.
Definitely scarier tha

Excellent Terror/Mystery! - 4.25 out of 5 (8/13/1998)
This is one of the best King adaptations. Great acting by Miguel Ferrer, and a great plot. Very scary at the end. Watch at night with all the lights out with your dolby digital system cranked up!
